The Neyers Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, starting from the top elevation of 800′, looking due south to vines planted along Conn Creek at an elevation of 400′. Our house sits in the middle, surrounded by redwood trees. The wine cellar juts out to the left, from the outside structure.It’s full of delicious wine that I am working hard to consume.

For several years, winemaker Tadeo Borchardt made this wine relying on the fruit from a single vineyard in the Sierra foothills. Over time, though, he added a second source of grapes that have what he felt were similar characteristics.

The 2019 Neyers Vineyards Vista Notre Zinfandel is a quintessential Lodi Zinfandel. Aromatically, it is brimming with bright, fragrant, red berry/cherry fruit, while also bristling with black peppercorn spice.
